ISDF signed a MOU with the ACCA21 under China’s Ministry of Science and Technology | December 2013
In order to strengthen and further develop past and existing cooperation on the areas of sustainability technologies and practices, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the International Sustainable Development Foundation (ISDF, U.S. Secretariat of the China-US Center for Sustainable Development) and the Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21 under the Ministry of Science and Technology (ACCA21, Chinese Secretariat of the China-US Center for Sustainable Development) on November 1st, 2013.
ISDF and ACCA21 agree to conduct trainings in the United States for Chinese officials and professionals on sustainability technologies and practices (such as sustainable community, green building, ocean resource management, hazard assessment, water management, air pollution control, soil remediation, waste management, renewable energy, S&T innovation). ACCA21 will be responsible for selecting officials and professionals throughout China. ISDF will be responsible for choosing government officials, business representatives, professors and professionals for training and curriculum development in the United States.
ISDF and ACCA21 also plan to collaborate on joint research, development and transfer of sustainability technologies and practices between China and U.S.; Facilitate exchanges between senior level decision makers; and explore and collaborate on other joint projects;
