The China-US Center for Sustainable Development is pleased to announce the appointment of Bradley A. Zenger of the Ecoworks Foundation to the Board of Councilors. The Board of Councilors provides strategic guidance for the Center’s operations and leadership in the development of new initiatives.
Zenger is the Founder and President of the Ecoworks Foundation, a “venture philanthropy” foundation committed to enabling economic systems, products or services that promote economic growth while replenishing the environment for future generations. Ecoworks Foundation intends, through investments in education and research, to fulfill its mission of promoting sustainable development.
Zenger is also a marketing and strategy consultant engaged with a variety of organizations leveraging new technology to deliver greater material, energy and water productivity in engineered systems. These organizations are addressing the exploding market opportunity driven by the rapidly increasing global demand for resources. Helping organizations identify emerging market opportunities in order to deliver technology-based solutions while providing profitable revenue growth.
Prior to his current positions, Zenger was one of five founders of Pixelworks Inc., a fabless semiconductor company, that introduced the ImageProcessor or first single chip flat panel display controller into the rapidly growing flat panel display industry. As Senior Vice President, Zenger developed and led the implementation of the marketing and sales strategies that led to the successful launch of the first ImageProcessor and Pixelworks – leading to an IPO and annual revenues of $140M in 2003.
Prior to founding Pixelworks, he was the Director of Marketing Services for In Focus, Inc. where he led a team of marketing professionals in the development and implementation of global demand creation programs for the market leader in digital projectors including advertising, public relations, trade-shows, and channel programs.
Zenger is an Adjunct Professor at Portland State University teaching graduate level courses in international marketing and sales. He was a nuclear qualified submarine officer in the US Navy. Zenger received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA from Santa Clara University.
